TaktPulse counts the cycle down on a screen the whole cell can read, and keeps counting when the cycle runs long. The same box reads your PLC, so the cycle data, the downtime reasons and the live logic are all in one place instead of three.

Four colours, no reading required

The whole panel changes colour, not a small digit in a corner, so it works from across the aisle and at an angle. When the cycle blows past target the count goes negative and stays on screen — the loss is visible instead of parked at zero.

On pace. The operator has room to work.

YELLOW

Time to close out. The window is narrowing.

ORANGE

Late. The cell is about to wait on this load.

RED

Overtime. The counter runs negative and the seconds lost are recorded, not hidden.

Three wired counters, unlimited virtual ones

Three counters come off the M12 connector. Once the unit is on the network you can add as many more as you need, driven straight from PLC tags — no extra wiring and no extra boxes.

It knows what shift it is

Shifts are defined once in the portal. Off-shift triggers are ignored and counters reset at the boundary, so nobody finds phantom cycles in the morning report.

Nothing to log into at the machine

No keyboard, no mouse, no laptop on a cart. Targets, labels and colours are changed from a phone or from the portal, one unit or the whole plant.

A dropped network costs you nothing

Cycles buffer on the unit and flush automatically when the connection comes back. Production data does not depend on your Wi-Fi having a good day.

The part a shot clock can't do

TaktPulse talks to ControlLogix and CompactLogix directly. That turns the timer on the wall into a diagnostic tool your controls people actually want to use.

Live tag reads

Read any tag live, trend it, and attach it to a counter — including machine cycle time straight from the controller, so loading time and true machine time sit side by side.

Diff two versions of a program rung by rung and see exactly what changed between the backup and what is running now. The answer to "it worked yesterday."

Downtime reasons you can trust

A satellite station at the cell locks the machine when it goes down and holds it until a reason is captured. The operator taps their badge on the RFID reader — identity, reason and duration are recorded on their own.

Nobody types a code into a terminal, because everybody knows how that ends: the same three codes all shift. Badge-driven data is data you can build a Pareto from.

Bypasses on the record

TaktPulse watches the safety and process bypass tags continuously and writes a permanent history: which bypass, when it went on, when it came off, and how long the machine ran that way.

No more finding a jumper three weeks later. Exportable, per station and per shift, and ready when your auditor asks.

One screen for the whole cell

Stations laid out on a plan view of the floor as it is actually arranged, each coloured by its current state and refreshed every five seconds. Put it on a display in the office or the aisle and a supervisor can see what's holding up the line from across the room, with nobody logged in.

Loading mode, for assembly and weld cells

Measures the operator's loading window and reports on-time rate, average load time, late loads and the trend across the shift.

Part-count mode, for presses

Lunch breaks don't ruin the average

It doesn't open anything into your plant

Most plant-floor software asks IT for a firewall exception, a VPN tunnel or an inbound port. TaktPulse asks for none of them.

Outbound only

The unit starts every connection itself over TLS. No inbound ports, no port forwarding, no tunnel into the cell. If it can reach the internet on 443 it works — including on a segregated VLAN or its own cellular link, isolated from your business network.

Read-only on the controller

TaktPulse reads tags. It does not write them, cannot change logic, force an output or move a setpoint. The worst thing it can do to a PLC is ask it a question.

SOC 2 certified hosting, in Canada

The platform runs on DigitalOcean, which holds SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 Type II certification audited by Schellman & Company, plus CSA STAR Level 1. Your data sits in the Toronto region and stays in Canada. The public SOC 3 report is available for your auditors.

Per-unit keys and scoped access

Every unit carries its own key, revocable on its own from the portal. Your records are scoped to your company, and owner, admin, maintenance and production roles each see a different set of screens.

Your programs stay yours

Uploaded PLC programs are stored outside the web root and served only through authenticated routes — never from a URL somebody could guess.

No agent on your network

Nothing to install on a plant PC, no software on your domain, no service account. The box is the integration.
